Your Astrology Chart and Stored Trauma

In this episode of the Vedic Astrology Podcast, I explore how trauma is held in the body–mind through the lens of Jyotiṣa.

Trauma is “what the mind cannot digest,” and Vedic Astrology offers a compassionate, structured way to understand how overwhelming experiences become stored, retrieved, and eventually integrated.

Some of the things I look at in the episode include

  • the Moon as manas - the perceiving, somatic mind

  • Mars and the 1–3 year developmental window

  • the Nisargika Daśā (natural planetary ages)

  • Scorpio as the vault of undigested experience

  • Nāgas and the porous underworld

  • the Uttaṅka story as a map for trauma retrieval

Your astrology chart doesn’t diagnose trauma - it reveals the architecture of how your system absorbs, stores and responds to experience.

If you’re curious about the intersection of astrology, somatics, myth and healing, this episode might be for you!
