Mars Retrograde 2025 - One transit, many outcomes
Why does Mars in Leo bring motivation for some and meltdown for others? This breakdown of the 2025 Mars retrograde—including its square to Uranus, low Uccha Bala, and high Chesta Bala—shows why the same Vedic astrology transit can feel so different in different charts. Includes insights into Israel’s national chart, Pope Leo’s Jupiter dasa, and why personal context always matters.
June 2025 Transits Jupiter in Cancer Saturn in Aries and more
Have you ever felt like one phase of life was ending, but the next hadn’t fully taken shape? That was the theme that emerged at our latest Moon and Transits gathering on Saturday. It makes sense as we have so many planet leaving Tropical Pisces and entering Tropical Aries this year. With these shifts creating a sense of endings and beginnings in motion, understanding transits becomes even more valuable. Vedic Astrology is so strong in predictive techniques like Vimshottari Dasa cycles, planetary maturity, planetary ages, Nodes, and Varshaphal, that transits often receive less emphasis—sometimes leaving us feeling "out of the loop" with what’s happening in the skies above. That’s where our Moon and Transits group comes in. It was a natural evolution of our Varshaphal Word-of-the-Year study group in 2023–2024, and has become a collaborative space where we share experiences and observations to bridge this gap. What makes these discussions so insightful is how each member contributes, deepening our understanding by bringing their unique perspective. I hope you will join us on Patreon for our next Gathering on Soltice 21 June 2025!

Harry - 7th House
See how 7th lord Moon, conjunct Rahu, enabled Prince Harry to choose a confident, emotionally open, divorced foreigner as his bride. AND … don’t miss an important discussion on how the Moon acts when it’s low on Ayana bala (i.e. rigid!).

Meghan - 1st House
Meghan is an activist, actor and humanitarian. She engages people with her unique blend of compassion and confidence. She is independent and determines her own destiny. Let’s explore how the mixture of the feminine, receptive Moon sign housing a masculine, active planet explains many of the blended characteristics found in the biography of Meghan Markle.
Reflections from our Solstice Moon & Transits gathering on the Ardra New Moon. We explored the weight of June 2025’s square-heavy astrology, the myth and efforting of Ardra, and the hidden lessons of a combust Jupiter. Plus, what the skies echoed in world events—and what may come next.
