This projects combines the 2nd lord’s karaka of the voice with the 12th lords karaka of selflessness as her fee from the project was donated to the cause! Venus, the ruler of the 11th house represents Meghan’s older half-siblings. Criticism of her by her older half-sister Samantha is well documented. Venus is debilitated in the rasi chart and 11th house of D10 making Meghan famous for having an unhappy older sibling. Meghan - 10th House
Meghan’s quality of “not taking no for an answer” can be seen as an asset or as a liability. It can make a person less than successful in team situations and this was perhaps a criticism that was levelled at her during her time as a senior working member of the Royal family. Being part of this unique team meant that Meghan couldn’t operate as a leader and individual … “She’s always relied on her own voice to stand up for others and for herself. So not being able to say anything is a debilitating feeling. She’s always been so independent, her entire life and that’s all been taken away from her”. Meghan - 9th House
Jupiter, the ruler of the 9th house, is located in the 4th house indicating that marriage will be an important part of Meghan’s inner emotional world. Venus is starving Jupiter and also providing rasi aspect to the 9th house. When starved by Venus, Jupiter is co-opted into fulfilling joy externally. This is against Jupiter’s inner-contentment nature and puts the planet under stress. See how this is playing out along with other factors in Meghan’s 9th House …
Meghan - 8th House
As Saturn relates to the 8th House of other people’s money in the Rasi chart, it is worth noting that Saturn is also exalted in the D2 and D4 charts that relate to wealth. In both of these vargas, Saturn is in angles. This makes Saturn even more capable of activating its role. Saturn is located with Jupiter and the Moon in the D1, D2 and D4 and these are karakas for wealth (Jupiter) and the people (the Moon). This could account for the financial support she received from other people being from a lottery win (luck – Jupiter, the masses –the Moon) and from the British people (the masses – the Moon). The Sun is also giving 55 points of aspect to the 8th House bhava cusp perhaps accounting for the ‘royal’, ‘father’ and ‘tax’ qualities of the financial support Meghan has received from others. The seventh house of this chart is ruled by Saturn. Saturn is a karaka for grief and misfortune, hard labour, adversity, discipline, and endurance. It will make Meghan look for a partner who has been through some hardship. In Prince Harry, she has certainly found someone who has endured grief and misfortune. Meghan is currently in Jupiter maha dasa and the acting role that made her famous (TV show Suits – about lawyers, a Jupiter karaka) began almost exactly at the start of the period. Scorpions are passive creatures who prefer to avoid confrontation and retreat to their holes in times of trouble. However, when poked, they will strike with their tail. Since Meghan and Harry’s relationship became public, they have employed both stances. Initially, they retreated from engaging in scandals about their life. Later, they took a more aggressive stance than is perhaps usual for the royals. First in a statement in 2016 requesting respect from the Press. And then in 2019 with the launching of lawsuits.
