June 2026 Transits with Laura Barat

In this latest episode of Fiona’s Adityas Podcast, I sit down once again with the brilliant Laura Barat to explore the astrological weather shaping June 2026. This month brings conjunctions, squares, trines, and a powerful shift of Uranus into Varuṇa - all of which touch our personal lives and the collective field.

It’s an episode full of the clarity of the water Adityas.

Opening Reflections

We begin by revisiting the Saturn–Mars conjunction from our previous conversation. This transit put two opposing malefics at loggerheads in an Earth sign and prevented any forward motion on the world stage in relation to conflict.

Uranus Conjunct the Sun and Mercury in Varuṇa

Next, we explore a major theme of this episode - the movement of Uranus into Varuṇa, where it will be joined by the Sun and Mercury. Laura shares how the Sun and Uranus can help all of us become an even more true version of ourselves.

As these conjunctions occur in the first half of the Rāśi, (the Moon’s Horā) it gives them the potential for:

  • revolutionary shifts in awareness

  • the release of collective trauma

  • breakthroughs in emotional intelligence

  • a re‑patterning of how society processes truth

It’s a tidal wave sized opportunity for the revolution of consciousness.

A New Moon in Varuṇa

We also look ahead to the upcoming New Moon in Varuṇa, which which is taking place is the Rakṣasa, or Saturn-ruled, portion of the Rāśi, and Saturn rules the 7th and 8th signs from Varuna. This brings to mind partnership, alliances, shared resources, and transformation.

This lunation may bring:

  • new or unexpected partnerships

  • shifts in international relations

  • deeper emotional transparency

  • healing around shared power

Varuṇa’s waters cleanse, reveal, and renew. This New Moon invites us to soften into connection rather than defend against it.

Uranus–Pluto Trine Inviting Transformation Through Water

Laura and I explore the trine between Uranus and Pluto, both in water signs. This configuration signals transformation through emotional and intuitive channels rather than strategic or intellectual ones as it is happening in the Apsarā portion of each Rāśi.

This trine suggests:

  • a shift in collective consciousness

  • emotional truth rising to the surface

  • intuitive decision‑making gaining strength

  • old structures dissolving from the inside out

It’s a moment when the emotional body becomes the primary agent of change.

Mars–Pluto Square & Venus–Saturn Square

As May closes, a Mars–Pluto square brings tension and potential disruption. This is a pressure‑point transit — intense, catalytic, and often revealing what can no longer be ignored.

Later, a Venus–Saturn square attempts to stabilize the field. Peace may not fully land, but the effort itself creates a consolation as even imperfect attempts at harmony can move the story forward.

Venus–Jupiter Conjunction in Indra

As the planets move into Indra Aditya at the end of the month, we preview the Venus–Jupiter conjunction.

Laura explains how Venus starves Jupiter and that this could manifest as luxurious or extravagant gestures from those in power. However, these indulgences might be revealing as this Rāśi is renowned for showing everything due to the story of Indra being covered in eyes as a punishment for trying to seduce Pusan’s wife.

Closing Thoughts

We end the episode with a moment of wonder as I reconnect with the southern night sky, the vastness of Varuṇa, and the reminder that astrology is not just a pastime, it’s a way of participating in the living cosmos.

Laura and I look forward to continuing this journey as the Sun moves into Indra, bringing a new layer of authenticity to the world stage.

Whether you’re a seasoned astrologer or simply curious about how celestial movements shape our inner and outer lives, this episode offers a grounded, insightful look at the cosmic currents of June 2026.
